Served as Crew Chief with the 69th Bomb Squadron (B-25 Bombers) for 26 months. Pacific Theater of Operations for 26 months. Recipient of the following medals: American Campaign, Asiatic Pacific Campaign with Three Stars, Victory World War II, Good Conduct, and N.J. Distinguished Service, Philippine Liberation with One Star. I was a crew member on a B-25 which ditched off New Guinea when a motor blew up. Served 39 months in the service with the Army Air Force and participated in the following battles: Air Offensive Japan, Bismarck, Archipelago, Luzon, New Guinea, Northern Solomons, Southern Philippines, and Western Pacific.
