    EDUCATION

    Mr. Jahingir received his Master of Science in Engineering (Mechanical) from Texas A&M University, Prairie View, TX in December 2002. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in August 1999. He has also completed course work for a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Houston, TX.

    Professional Accomplishment

    Mr. Jahingir made a very significant contribution in optimizing the inlet/ejector system of a Rocket Based Combined Cycle Engine. His optimized RBCC powered systems can provide significant advantages in all flight Mach numbers, weight, payload, and cost over competing conventional propulsion solutions. Moreover, compared to conventionally powered rocket vehicles, Mr. Jahingir' research will significantly reduce vehicle weight by eliminating a significant amount of its required on-board oxidizer. This research was done at Computational Fluid Dynamic Institute, Prairie View, TX in collaboration with NASA Marshal Space Flight Center.

    PROFESSIONAL REGISTRATIONS, SOCIETIES AND HONORS

    Mr. Jahingir was honored as "Outstanding Graduate Student" for the year 2001-2002 from Texas A&M University, Prairie View, for his excellence in research.
    Mr. Jahingir is a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA).
