Neal Starr, Sr. is a true artist, although he protests such praise as extravagant, and humbly dismisses it with denial and a swift change of subject. He has been designing, building, and flying award-winning radio-controlled model aircraft for 45 years. His passion for the hobby has never diminished, even throughout a life-threatening bout with cancer, and dozens of enthusiasts can thank Neal for their initiation into the wonderful world of RC. Becoming a father at age 53 only reinforced Neal's love of RC flying; he and Neal Jr. spent many happy hours together enjoying the hobby, resulting in treasured childhood memories for our son.
