Mr. Carl Glad
Born in Russia in 1900, Mr Nicholas Glad moved to the United States during the Russian Revolution. He was Sikorsky Aircraft's Maintenance Manager. He was one of the original engineers for the Sikorsky Aero Engineering Corporation.
Nick specialized in the design of interiors and mock-up construction. He was involved in the design of all Sikorsky aircraft ranging from the early flying boats to the UH-60 Blackhawk. He also privately designed projects for the Department of Defense and other industry corporations.
