    Mr. Frank Brownle

Norm Hoffman's involvement with civil aviation began with an airplane ride on a Pacific Airlines Martinliner from Santa Rosa, CA to San Francisco, CA with his beloved Grandmother "DeeDee". From that age of about eight he was hooked on flying, travel and being a part of the industry.
His employment in civil aviation began at San Jose, CA when he was hired to work part-time for SFO Helicopters. When they went into bankruptcy he was hired by Continental Airlines on December 17,1970 to work as a part time ramper and agent. He little knew that that job would last at least thirty-five years and would lead to positions with the company as a Flight Kitchen Supervisor in Los Angeles, "Inflight Supervisor" aboard the DC-10 (his favorite aircraft), Product Management Specialist, Flight Attendant Supervisor and finally LAX based fight attendant. When the LAX base was closed he chose to change to the Houston Flight Attendant Base and has since spent his time flying to San Jose, Costa Rica and other Central American destinations.
Both Continental and Norm have changed greatly in the last thirty-five years. As he celebrates his anniversary with the company on December 17, 2005, he looks forward to many more years with the "Proud Bird".
