I have had a long time fascination, interest and respect for individuals who have made contributions to aviation, space flight, commercial air travel and the nation’s defense. My father, the late Howard C. Davis, served proudly in the U.S. Air Force and I always beamed with pride when I watched him put on the uniform. From the courageous efforts of the Wright Brothers to the historic U.S. expedition to the moon, I have always maintained an interest in the progress of aviation for our country. I hope, with my contribution to this Wall of Honor, I can further those ideals.
