    Otho Harvey Flack was born October 27, 1918 in Mooresville, Missouri. He was raised in White Sulfur Spring WV, and graduated high school there, but continued his pursuit of higher learning through various correspondence & trade schools where he perfected his technical expertise. Otho had a passion for scouting and was awarded his Eagle Scout Badge on December 4, 1936. He served as Assistant Scout Master for Troup 51 of White Sulfur Springs & took his scout troop to the 1937 Boy Scout Jamboree in Washington, DC. He had an interest in aeronautics and enlisted in the Army Air Corp on June 28, 1941 and was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant where he served until November 20, 1945 when he was Honorably Discharged from Drew Field, Florida. He attended airplane mechanic schools in Newark, NJ & Burbank, CA and served as an airplane mechanic & technical inspector. After his service Otho was married, and raised 4 children, residing in Linthicum, MD where he worked for major engineering companies eventually retiring from Westinghouse Ocean Research & Engineering Center and previously working at their Electric Defense Group where he was a systems test technician. Otho had an incredible work ethic and also ran his part time TV & radio repair business and had a love for gardening that occupied his limited spare time. He passed away May 4, 1989.
