    First Lieutenant Otis C. Ingebritsen was the pilot of Tiger Girl, a B-17g Flying Fortress belonging to the 560th squadron, 388th bomb group flying out of Knettishall base near Thetford, England. From September 1943 through February 1944, Ingebritsen completed twenty five missions over Nazi territory and was twice awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. His crew destroyed seven Nazi attacking aircraft. From March 1944 until July 1944, he was a Squadron instructor pilot. Ingebritsen left the service in September 1945.
    Ingebritsen was born January 14, 1918 at Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin. For many years, he and his wife have lived at Yorktown, Virginia.
