Professor Patrick J. Dyra, retired, taught in the Social Science Department at the Wilbur Wright College campus of the City Colleges of Chicago for 40 years. Together, he and his wife, Virginia I. Dyra, have raised eight children, one of whom, Brian Patrick Dyra, is an aeronautical engineer.
