    Paul received his M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from N.C. State University where he designed and tested a QFT pitch-axis control system and developed hardware and software for an on-board flight data acquisition system.

    Out at the Lockheed Skunk Works, in the booming metropolis of Palmdale, CA, Paul worked as a Controls Engineer and supported control law development for the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM) (a cruise missile).

    He named his dog Bernoulli.

    Back on the east coast, Paul developed aircraft and satellite models for onboard remote sensing platforms with the TRW Company.

    He bought a house with a clear view of planes landing at Dulles International Airport.

    Paul continued to work with sensor model development at the turn of 2001.
