In 1966 Paul was working in the corporate Affairs department of Anheuser-Bush in Newark NJ. At this time the new International airport was being built and Paul was fascinated with the airplanes taking off and landing. He then decided that flying was definitely something for him.

That year, he was 22 and starting taking lessons at a small municipal airport Caldwell-Wright, NJ. There he received his private commercial multi-engine and instrument ratings. A few years later he was flying for Chatham Aviation in Morristown NJ. In 1973 he landed a corporate job with ITT Corporation based at LaGuardia Airport, NY. He was flying Beech 18 and Gulfstream I.

In 1974 he was transferred to the European HQ of ITT Corp. in Brussels Belgium where he started flying besides the Gulfstream I, Gulfstream II and III's. He spent 12 years based in Europe, flying all over the world. He returned to the United States in 1986 with his wife and 2 children. In Allentown PA he was flying Gulfstream IV and V's and after 26 years with ITT, the company went through a merger and became Starwood Hotels & Resorts. In the following years the merger trend continued and Paul found himself flying for Starwood Resorts & Hotels, Seagram’s, Universal Studios, and Vivendi-Universal. Paul went on to fly a private Global Express, which was based in Hong Kong.

His last corporate job was with JPMorgan Chase. He retired in 2011 after 38 years in corporate aviation.

He is one of the few type-rated on every Gulfstream, from the G-I, G-II, G-III, G-IV, G-V, G-450 and G-550 which was manufactured to this date.
He is retired and lives in Arizona with his wife.
