    Arrived on this planet, Earth, May 20, 1914. First saw a plane, JN4-D. It made a forced landing, Sept. 5, 1919, Dickson, TN. First plane ride in Waco-10, as prize in model contest, April 28, 1929. November 2, 1934, won 2nd and 3rd place in national scale model contest.
    In 1939, applied for Flying Cadets flight training, failed physical. In 1945 obtained Private Pilot and A-P Mech. Licenses. From 1941 through 1949, worked for CVAC (CONVAIR), Plant & Service Engineering, tech. illustrations for A-31, A-35, C-87 and B-32 Aircraft.
