Honored by:
Mrs. Carol B. Lees
Philip Lees died in November 2001. Philip was never able to learn to fly, though he’d have loved to. However, his interest in all forms of aviation, particularly historic (World War I), was enormous. He left a library of over 250 books on all types of aviation, even radio controlled models.
He was an engineer for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 41 years and holds several design patents.
