Mr. McAlister has contributed to civil, military, and commercial space programs throughout his career. He has assisted in the design and development of new launch vehicles, participated in the redesign of the International Space Station, and contributed to the development of several commercial space endeavors. He believes that space exploration represents the best parts of humanity -- imagination, achievement, and the desire to be better.
