Dr. Page has excelled in leadership positions focused on US expertise in Air and Space Activities in Industry and Universities. His research on gas dynamics of separation and reattachment assisted industry in making progress on the US space program. Page's international recognition led to various honors. He served as a leader of engineering national task forces and a consultant to government and industry. Elected a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in 1971, he was recognized as an Honorary ASME Member in 1988. Professor Page's professional society recognition includes election as a Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA), Fellow of Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), and Fellow of American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
