Professor Robin Higham was born in London, England, 20 June 1925. He served as a F/Sgt. Pilot in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve, 1943-1947.
Prof Higham graduated cum laude from Harvard College, 1950, MA Claremont Graduate School 1953, and PhD Harvard University 1957.
He was a leading author in aviation history, publishing the following:
