    Honored by:
    Mr. Ralph Wm Knight Jr.

    Ralph Wm. Knight, Sr.
Ralph Wm. Knight's career began in South Florida in 1966 as a student pilot and that was just the beginning. He has flown just about every type of aircraft in every type of flying there is to do including circling the globe. He has traveled to 50 different countries and 6 continents in his career and logged over 20,000 hours. Most of this time was logged in Douglas aircraft, Cessna's, Falcon jets, Beechcraft, DeHaviland, Learjets and Gulfstreams. To sum it up he has flown everything from J-3 Cub's to Gulfstream 5's.
Uniquely, his license reads ATP Single engine land and sea, Multi- engine land and sea. His titles have ranged from Student pilot to Airline transport pilot, from Flight instructor to Chief flight instructor and Designee Examiner, from Corporate pilot and Charter pilot to Chief pilot and Director of Operations, from aircraft owner to Flight school/Charter Operator/Maintenance facility owner, and on many occasions he has been a floatplane and a jet pilot with wet socks all in one day.
But the most notable part of his career has been his love for flight instruction. He has trained students from all over the world in all levels of instruction. Since receiving his license, he has been training pilots to this day, sharing his inherent ability, passion and love of flying. His students have gone on to become airline pilots, military pilots, corporate pilots, FAA employee and directors of flight operations.
His two sons, Bill and Andy are proud to say we learned everything we know about aviation from him but the title we are most proud to call him by is Dad.
