Randy?’'s love of aviation started very early. He would be in the yard and watch the planes as they flew by. Randy would go with his father to the airport to watch planes land and take off. Eventually, bringing radios and binoculars with them. He could name all the planes by the time he was six. Naturally, he and his father became pilots. Randy started to fly at age 13 at a grass field. At age 17, he received his pilot'?’s license, progressing to larger and higher ratings into the military. Watching the Warbirds at military air shows was always his favorite, enjoying the sound of the radial engines growl by. Randy and his father would fly all over the country, taking trips with groups of thirty planes to Harlingen, Mexico, Nellis, Oshkosh, and the Bahamas, flying into the Bush in Canada were always highlights. Now his Dad?’'s got a good spot at Arlington, right on the approach to Reagan International. Randy still thinks there is nothing more thrilling or fun than flying a Skyhawk on a beautiful day.
