    High School Grad. 1943. Built B-29s and P-75s at Cleveland, OH bomber plant. In 1943, joined the U.S.C.G. temporary reserves as a SP, coxswain in Flotilla 704, 9th Naval District, won Expert Pistol Medal. Navy draftee late 1944. Hospital Corpsman at Charleston Naval Hospital and attached to 4th Marines. Disbanded on VJ Day. Transferred to Post medical Detachment Parris Island Boot Camp. Discharged July 2,1946.
    Home to Ohio University. Joined Active Naval Air Reserve 1947. Fasron 695 Port Columbus, Ohio. Went inactive in 1954, total discharge 1967.
    Current member of Confederate Air Force since 1987. Support American Air Museum in Britain, U. S. Air Force Museum, Dayton, OH, the A.F.R. as local secretary, Navy Air Museum in Pensacola, US Air Museum, Willowick, OH, and long time volunteer for the Cleveland National Air Show. 63 years continued service to the Boy Scouts of America.
