    Raymond C. Perra is an electrical engineer and retired aerospace executive. He spent most of his decades-long career working for iconic American aerospace and defense companies, including General Electric, Hamilton Standard, Chandler Evans, Goodrich Corporation and Triumph Group.

    Among Perra's many professional achievements, he was awarded a U.S. Patent in 1983 for innovation in EAROM and EEPROM data storage management, materially improving electronic memory storage devices for information from signal processors.

    Always willing to share his passion for engineering with others, Perra was a volunteer mentor for a FIRST Robotics team in Manchester, Connecticut, for many years. As a long-time model aircraft enthusiast, he is a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics and has been active in the Wintonbury Flying Club for many years, including serving as secretary of the club in his retirement.

    Perra holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Western New England College. He earned a Master's in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Control Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He resides in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, with his wife Deborah. They have three children and many grandchildren.
