Worked at Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 6,1953 to 2,1990: Voyager S/C Manager 1972 to 1978 responsible for design, development, integration, test and launch support of Voyagers One and Two; Voyager Deputy Project Manager 1978 to 1979, Voyager Project Manager 1979-1981. Received National Space Clubs 1981 Astronautics Engineering Award and the Institute of Mechanical Engineering in England James Watt International Gold Medal for his work on Voyager. Also received NASA's Distinguished Service Medal for Voyager.
