    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Maryann Lazer

Raymond S. Lazer may best be described as an armchair airplane enthusiast, but his deep and abiding love of aircraft and aviation makes a profound impression on all who know him. His interest began when he was a boy; this interest was encouraged by an aunt, who bought him his first plane ticket (a round trip from Washington, DC to Baltimore).

He reads all the books on flying he can get his hands on; he has had one flying lesson; he flies airplanes in computer simulations; he talks to the pilots and watches planes at the small local airport; and, most important, he has passed on this love to his grandson, William, who at age 3 is already talking about becoming a pilot.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
