Twenty year old recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in the Republic of Vietnam. Five year Army veteran and twenty five year Marine Corps veteran. Other Decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Tow Meritorious Service Medals, The Air medal for heroism and twenty six Strike Flight Awards of the Air Medal. Presidential White House Pilot and Aircraft Commander from 1982-1986. Qualified in over 26 different model helicopters. Five thousand eight hundred helicopter flight hours of which fifteen hundred are combat!
