Raymond Scott Ciszek, as of 2001, is a fourth-year student at the University of Virginia majoring in Aerospace Engineering. He spent the summer of 2000 as an intern at the National Air and Space Museum in the Space History Division.
As a third year student at UVA, his aircraft design class / team placed in the National General Aviation Design Competition in the Innovative Design Category. The team also won the Air Force Research Laboratory Award. Ciszek plans to pursue a career in aerospace engineering.
