    During World War II worked under direction of Major Frank Halford (indirectly with Sir Frank Whittle who was granted a patent for the first turbo-jet engine) at DeHavilland Engine Co, England, developing the DeHavilland Goblin and Ghost gas turbines. Moved to Canada in 1948 and to the USA in 1952.

    In 1954 joined the research and development team with Dr Anselm Franz at Avco Lycoming. Responsible for the experimental assembly operations for the first Lycoming T53 and T55 turbo shaft engines. Later honored at the Smithsonian presentation on March 14, 1989 of the first successful high-bypass ratio turbo fan engine, the "PLF 1 A."

    Continued career directing "after sales and service" operations worldwide to retirement in 1990.
