    Honored by:
    Ms. Dianne Craycraft Hume

Jack Craycraft saw his first airplane in the 1930s in rural Ohio. He took his first ride in 1939 and his was hooked! He joined the U. S. Army 1942 hoping to get to pilot school. That opportunity did not come until 1952 when he switched to the U. S. Air Force. He became a fighter pilot. He flew F-86 Sabre Jets in Korea and F-100s in Vietnam. His favorite was the F-4 Phantom. He ended his career flying F-111As in 1974. Jack was a pilot instructor, Squadron Commander and Wing Commander. He was happiest flying a mission for his country. God Bless Fighter Pilots!
