    Reg Hubley had his first airplane flight in 1939 in a Stinson Reliant at age eleven. Father paid $5.00 for a 15 minute ride in a Stinson Reliant at age eleven. The flying bug had bitten.
    All through WWII, he filled four scrapbooks of news clippings about aviation and the war. He still has them.
    In 1944, at age 16, he took flying lessons in an Aeronca Champ and soloed on the 8th hour at Westchester County Airport, NY.
    In 1967 he bought his first airplane, a 1959 Cessna 182 Skylane, and added a commercial rating to his pilot’s license.
    From 1969 to 1976 he was a publisher of Aviation Week and Space Technology, a McGraw-Hill publication.
    From 1970 to 1978 appointed a member of the Board of Nominations for the Aviation Hall of Fame, Dayton, Ohio.
    Listed in the 1973 edition of Who’s Who in Aviation.
    In 2000 purchased and restored a 1943 US Navy Stearman N@S-3. Still actively flying today.
