Mr. Gauron served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Gauron has worked behind the scenes in the aerospace industry for over 42 years. In 1975 he started his own aerospace business, Marketing Masters, Inc. Marketing Masters started out as a manufacturer's representative, fastener supplier and distributor. Today the company and its subsidiaries have grown into aerospace fastener manufacturers and are now one of the leading manufacturers of composite fasteners. Marketing Masters has manufactured and patented fasteners, latches, magazine restrain systems, bassinets and closet doors. Advanced Engineered Products, one of Marketing Masters' subsidiaries has manufactured fasteners, composite inserts, clips and nuts that have revolutionized the aerospace industry making aircraft lighter and stronger and allowing aircraft to carry more weight, improving fuel efficiency. Although Mr. Gauron is now retired and his two sons currently manage the company, he can be found at the company most days of the week.

After receiving his private pilot's license, Mr. Gauron continued to earn an Airline Transport Rating as well as a Sea Plane Rating. Since then he has continued to improve on his skills and enjoys flying recreationally. Mr. Gauron has flown many different types of aircraft over the years. He currently flies a Twin Engine Beechcraft Baron and is based at Boeing field in Seattle, Washington.

Mr. Gauron was initiated as a member of the Quiet Birdmen in 1991. He has served as Governor of the Seattle QB Hangar and as head of the National QB Executive Committee.
