    Col. Richard G. Home, USAF (Ret.), born March 2, 1931 and graduated from Oregon State University in 1952. Was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant through the Air Force ROT at OSU and completed jet pilot training in 1954 during the
    Korean War. His eventual 19 assignments in the Air Force during his 30 year career included: Instructor Pilot, Laredo AFB, Texas; Asst. Chief, Tactical Air Operations Center, Osan AB, Korea; Squadron and Wing Executive Officer
    8th Tactical Fighter Wing, Ubon Thailand; War Planning & Programming Officer, Hq. USAF; Deputy Commander, Operation Fighter 8th Tactical Wing; Vice Commander, 36th Tactical- Fighter Wing, Bitburg, Germany; Chief of Staff,
    Hq. USAFE, Ramstein, Germany. Awards: 10 Distinguished Flying Cross Medals; 23 Air Medals; Bronze Star and others.
