My dad loved flying. He learned to fly at Parks Air College in St. Louis. By 1943 he was an instructor for the Army Air Corps before joining the USAAF Air Transport Command flying the Hump in the China-Burma-India Theater. It's a pleasure to be able to honor my dad for his service during WWII and his lifetime in aviation.
