    Honored by:
    Ms. Kathleen D. Habeger

During WW II, Mr. Habeger worked in fire control systems for anti-aircraft artillery, a skill that led him to become involved in the very earliest ground to air missiles, the Nike AJAX and Nike HERCULES missiles. Mr. Habeger served as the first manager of depot level maintenance of the missiles on the West Coast of the U.S. Mr. Habeger led the activities which developed the early depot level maintenance functions of the NIKE fire control radars and systems. Mr. Habeger remained interested in high-performance aviation developments throughout his life.
