As a little boy I became interested in airplanes. I would run down to see American Airlines DC-3s land and my first airplane ride was at this airport as a boy.
I graduated high school just as the Korean War started. I joined the United States Air Force, thus began an aviation career which lasted 47 years around airplanes. I worked 37 years with U.S. Airways and to this day my interest in aviation has not ended.
