Mr. Calcagni served on active duty with the US Army, and as a non-commissioned officer in the Ohio National Guard from 1958 until 1964. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University, a former Business Education Instructor, and was employed for 33 years with Commercial Intertech Corp. in Youngstown, Ohio where he held positions in marketing, manufacturing, general management and executive management.
He retired in 1998 as Group Vice President of worldwide Metal Products Operations. He is currently owner and president of Calcagni & Associates, a business consulting, writing, and publishing company.
Mr. Calcagni assisted in the writing of two books, co-authored a third, and has published articles in Reader's Digest magazine. He earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 1995, an Instrument Rating in 2001, and enjoys flying his Cessna 182 Skylane.
