    Mr. Bob Fritz

Vincent Spitaleri was a Mechanical Optical Engineer. He received his engineering degree from New York University and served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1954. He was married for forty one years. He was born in New York City, NY and lived in Queens for a short time before we were married and then we moved to Long Island, NY where we raised our two daughters. He worked for various companies in many different localities and also had his own consulting business. He was a member of various organizations, American Aviation Historical Society, the American Legion, The Smithsonian Institution and a member of Air & Space.
Vincent had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed music, photography, bow hunting and made his own bows. He built model airplanes and won awards. He was an avid reader, he always had a thirst for knowledge. When in the Air Force he fell in love with flying, fortunately in time he was able to fly again and did as often as possible. Vincent had articles published in various engineering magazines. He wrote papers and gave lectures.
This is a short biography of my husband Vincent Spitaleri, he was a loving husband and father and left an impression on many people.
