Enlisted in the Army in 1942. Flew combat missions with
the 15th Air Force as a B-24 Aircraft Commander. After WWII flew with the Ohio National Guard. Recalled to active duty during the Korean War. Subsequently assigned to France and Germany. At the completion of my tour in Europe assigned to McClellan AFB. Attended Air Command & Staff School
volunteered for duty
n 1963. In 1967 volunteered for duty in S.E.A. and completed 103 combat missions. In 1968 returned Germany to command Special Air Missions. In 1974 assigned to Rick-enbacker AFB as Director of Operations. Retired in 1977. During my career completed approximately 1500 combat hours. Member of The Distinguished Flying Cross Society.
