Robert Butzko was a forward thinking engineer, inventor and businessman who made many contributions to American society through his life's work. He was part of the team that developed the radar system used in the B-29 Super Fortress during WWII and his love of aviation and engineering never waned during his long life. After WWII he was instrumental in the development of the plastic industry and secured numerous patents while overseeing his own manufacturing facility in CT. He was a mentor to many and a member of the greatest generation.
