Robert Heskin has always had a passion for flying. While attending college at the University of North Dakota he was in the Air Force ROTC, 1957-1960. He served four years in the Air Force. The Joined as a 2nd Lieutenant and was promoted to Captain. He served from 1960 to 1965. He did two tours of Vietnam. He was the Captain of a C-130. He received an honorable discharge in 1965.
He owned his own plane, a small Cessna. He continues to keep up his private pilot's license and loves to fly any chance he gets.
