Father, WWII Navy veteran and DC area Postal Service employee who shared the dream of flight with his young son by taking him to JFK’s dedication of Dulles International Airport, to Washington National to observe airliner departures and arrivals, and to Cameron Station to observe model plane flights. He died young but his love of flight lives on.
