Member of the Fourth Class to enter the U.S. Air Force Academy in June, 1958. The Class of 1962 was named the RTBs due to their antics during a field trip to USAF Operational Command bases during the spring of their freshman year.
Mr. Hackney also worked at the Boeing Company for 21 years as a procurement manager for the company’s commercial aircraft and aerospace programs.
