    Dr. Robert S. Morr was a B-26 pilot who flew sixty-five missions from Colchester and Great Dunmow, England prior to and just after D-Day during World War II. He was assigned to the 386th Bomb Group which was first part of the Eight Air Force and then later the Ninth Air Force. The aircraft that he flew most frequently carried the name "Yankee Guerilla." Dr. Morr was a First Lieutenant and earned the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal with eleven oak leaf clusters and the Presidential Unit Citation. Dr. Morr entered the Army Air Corps on January 6, 1942 and was discharged in August of 1945. During training in Tampa, Florida, Dr. Morr married Grace McClaran of Ashland, Ohio. Dr. Morr served with a crew that included Charles Page (Co-Pilot), Ralph Montagna (Bombardier), Charlie Vail (Engineer), Robert Becker (Radio) and Bill Cormier (Tail Gunner). Following his discharge, Dr. Morr attended Dental School at Ohio State University and practiced dentistry for ! Most of his career in Wooster, Ohio.
