"Stan" Reynolds holds degrees in Physics from Harvard and Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. After serving as a radar counter-measures officer during WW II, he worked his entire career with Sandia laboratories. He worked on many defense-related projects, including the Johnston Island Upper Atmospheric Nuclear Tests, software systems for satellites, and testing of missile components. He is a nationally recognized expert on magnetic tape data recording.
