Col Galer is the son of Brig Gen Robert E Galer USMC and Dorothy "Sam" Beyer Galer. His wife is Kimberley Herbert Galer and his brother is Vincent Hall Galer. Children are Samantha Galer Wilson (daughter), Thomas Mitchell Wilson (son-in-law), Vincent Morris Galer (son) and Samantha Ann Galer (daughter-in-law). Col Galer and his wife live in Midway, UT.
