As a young engineer at NASA Dryden Flight Research Center, Robert designed the wing structure for the Parasev, worked in structural loads calibrations, measurements and data reduction for the X-15 and the M2-F2 lifting body, and conducted load and heat tests on several different flight vehicles in the Structural Loads Laboratory. Later at NASA Ames Research Center, Robert worked for 30 years in design and construction of model support systems for the 40x80 Wind Tunnel, the 80x120 Wind Tunnel and the 12FT Wind Tunnel.
