    Roger C. Zwieg began his flying career as an Air Force Instructor Pilot in 1964. After leaving the Air Force in 1969, he flew with the Louisiana Air National Guard, later transferring to the Texas ANG.

    In 1970 he began his career with NASA, first as a Flight Director for the Lunar Landing Training Vehicle, and then as an Instructor Pilot for the Astronaut Flight Readiness Program, flying T-38s, the Shuttle Training Aircraft, the G-I, G-II, WB-57F, C-13 0, and P-3. In addition he has been the Chief, Aviation Safety Officer for NASA and Chief, Standardization/Evaluation. He has been involved in the training of all the astronauts from the Apollo era to present.

    He also flies charter for corporate operators in his spare time. To date he has accrued more than 24,000 flight hours in over 150 types of aircraft. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating, is a CFII, FAA Pilot Proficiency Examiner, and Ground Instructor, Advanced and Instrument. Roger is a "pilot's pilot", and his love for aviation has been an inspiration for all his associates.
