Was good friend of Milo Burcham and observer in National Air Races, Cleveland, Ohio (second races -- original in Los Angeles).
Was civilian technician in World War II (WWII) in Pacific Theater. Tulagi, Guadalcanal, Manus, Okinawa, Jinsen KO, Korea for United States Navy Bureau of Ships.
