    Comments: I took over Provide Comfort in June 1994 following the friendly fire shoot down in April 1994 of two US Army UH-60 helicopters by two F-15s. I was the last Wing Commander at Bitburg AB; 36th FW. The wing inactivated in June 1994 but the housing area and DODDS school remained open under the 23rd FW; Spangdahlem AB, GE. I retired effective 31 August 1996.
