    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:
    Ms. Donna J. Godfrey

Profile: Roland L Heath worked 44 years at the Singer-Link facility in College Park, Maryland, where they made the Link Flight Simulator Trainer. He was sub-foreman for the Maintenance Department, responsible to keep this enormous facility and most of it's apparatus in working order. Singer-Link closed it's doors in 1995 and as one of the key personnel, Mr. Heath was the last to officially vacate the facility.
He's quite unusual in his ability to build and repair any type of motor or mechanical device. There are few who can match his amazing talent and ingenuity.
His son, Gary Heath, is a docent at the National Air and Space Museum, and he shares his son's passionate interest in the history of flight.

Wall of Honor profiles are provided by the honoree or the donor who added their name to the Wall of Honor. The Museum cannot validate all facts contained in the profiles.
