Ron's career in the Aerospace Field spanned 40 years from 1956 to 1996, starting with 3 years as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Coast Guard with engineering duty in the Loran Program and Lighted Aids to Navigation.

He then spent 17 years in the Research Department of Grumman Aerospace Corporation including as the Head of the Electro-physics Group engaged in various exploratory programs in High Energy Laser Technology, Electro-optic Signal Processing, Holography, Microwaves, and Solid State Devices.

He also spent 16 years with Aerodyne Research Incorporated as Director of the Center for Systems Analysis involved in AFSD and SDIO Programs in Strategic Missile Identification Location and Tracking, EO Stealth Technology, and End-to-End Simulation of IRST Systems, with various funded studies from DARPA, AF Wight Aeronautical Laboratory, AF Geophysics Laboratory, Lockheed, General Electric Co, Martin Marietta, Rockwell, and Raytheon.

He was the author of two books and over 40 technical papers in IEEE Journals and Applied Optics. He had a BEE, Summa Cum Laude, from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1955, and a MS (Electrical Engineering) from the University of Maryland in 1959.

Jane, his wife for 49 years, was one of the unsung heroes of the Aerospace Field whose love, support, and encouragement was a constant factor in the success of his work.
