    Ronald O. Dean graduated Univ. of Maryland 1968, US Air Pilot training Laughlin APB, Tx, class 69-07 in 1969. Served with 19th Tactical Airlift Sq, Tan Son Nhut AB, Saigon, Vietnam 1969-1970, flying the C-123. Aircraft Commander with 380th Aerospace Wing, flying the KC-135, 1970-73. Served three combat tours in Southeast Asia; Tan Son Nhut AB, Saigon, RVN, flying over 300 combat missions; U Tapao AB, Thailand flying the KC-135 and Kadena AB, Okinawa flying the KC-135. Awarded the Air Medal with 6/OLCs, The "Distinguished Flying Cross on Oct. 10, 1972 while flying as aircraft commander out of Kadena AB, Okinawa in support of the Air Force mission in Southeast Asia.
