Ronald P. Willett

Dr. Ronald P. Willett was born October 18th 1933 and grew up in Northwestern Ohio. He attended Miami of Ohio University where he received a BS/MBA, and earned a PhD in Business from Indiana University. He served as a Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Marketing at the School of Business, Indiana University - Bloomington for 25 years followed by a career in consulting and industry, where he was a former corporate executive, entrepreneur and CEO. He began flying small planes in 1973 while on a sabbatical at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. He owned a variety of single engine airplanes while flying for almost 30 years, both for business and enjoyment. He enjoyed the freedom of flight and the challenge of striving for elegance and precision in his flight skills.
